Respect the Library Environment
These rules are designed to protect library resources and ensure that every user can study, read and conduct research in a disciplined and comfortable environment.
Maintain Silence
Keep conversations and mobile phone usage to a minimum inside the library.
Carry Your ID
Students should carry a valid college or library identity card.
Protect Books
Do not mark, damage, tear or mishandle books and library resources.
Return on Time
Return borrowed books within the permitted period to avoid penalties.
Library Rules and Regulations
All library users are requested to observe the following rules.
General Rules
- Every student must carry a valid College Identity Card while using the library.
- Maintain complete silence inside the library.
- Mobile phones should be kept in silent mode.
- Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited.
- Personal belongings should be kept at the designated place.
Borrowing Rules
- Books should be issued only through the library counter.
- Borrowers are responsible for the books issued in their names.
- Books should be returned on or before the due date.
- Renewals are allowed if the book is not reserved.
- Reference books, journals, newspapers, and rare books are for library use only.
Damage or Loss
- Loss or damage of books must be reported immediately.
- The borrower shall replace the lost book or pay the current cost as decided by the library authority.
Conduct
- Users should handle books carefully.
- Writing, marking, or tearing pages is strictly prohibited.
- Library staff instructions should be followed at all times.
The Librarian reserves the right to suspend library privileges for violation of library rules.
